Bill Schopp played for St. Louis Cardinals organization 1976-1979. Played college ball for Moorpark College, California and was drafted in the 4th Round 1976.
After baseball worked in the Orthopedic Sports Medicine business from 1979-1999.
Currently owns and operates Pro Pitching Inc., a baseball training organization since 2004. Schopps professional training experience reaches back to 1979 with Jim Rice Pro Baseball School and PBI Pro Baseball Instruction.
Coach Schopp works with Miami Childrens Orthopedic Sports Medicine Dept., Dr Steve Swirsky as a post medical treatment. Schopp performs a bio mechanical evaluation, personal fitness evaluation, continued arm strengthening and throwing program.
Coach Schopp under Dr. Swirsky's recommendations developed a complete baseball training program covering active dynamic warm up, throwing, strengthening, position training and hitting instruction. Topics also covered are nutrition, strength training, speed, agility and conditioning.
Experience includes managing Perfect Competition, a training facility for Major League baseball players such as Ramirez, Cabrera, Palanco, Treanor, Brown, Willis, Hanley Ramirez and many more. Schopp has over 600 baseball players currently in his program. He has worked with numerous college, pro and high school ball players. Added experience Broward Spine Institute as a manager for The Back Gym an aquatics therapy and rehabilitation center.
